What is BRICC?

The Bluegrass Regional Independent Christian Co-Op (BRICC) is a small Christian homeshool co-op prayerfully established by a group of seven homeschooling moms in December of 2005 to provide a place of fellowship and enrichment for the home educated children in Central Kentucky.

We meet on Thursday (generally August through March) from 12:30-4:30. We are hosted by Crossroads Christian Church www.xroadschurch.org. Crossroads continues to be extremely supportive of the homeschool community and are wonderful hosts with a great facility. That is why we always strive to leave the spaces we use better than when we came in!

BRICC is as wonderful as the families that attend. In the true spirit of the co-operative, we work together to make BRICC a dynamic, engaging experience for everyone. We offer a place for moms to have a cup of coffee and fellowship during classes, and the freedom to leave from time to time if neccesary to run an errand alone.

We encourage everyone to get involved to make the most of your families' enrichment experience. BRICC members have started book clubs, planned field trips, organized get-togethers, and set up prayer groups. Find something you want to do, invite us and we will love to join you!

WHAT BRICC IS NOT:

BRICC is not a school.
BRICC is not childcare.
We are not equipped to care for your children extensively. Minimal supervision is provided. If your child needs extensive direction or supervision your child should not be left alone on site. We have wi-fi and hot coffee and plenty of cozy meeting areas...please utilize those if you are not confident with your child's ability to stay with a group and their ability to change/stay in classes without wandering off.
